Wayne County Department of Public Services’ Environmental Services Division has announced the 2026 schedule for the countywide Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Program. The HHW collections run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Melvindale High School, 4500 Enterprise Drive, Allen Park, MI, 48101.
Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Henry Ford Community College, 5101 Evergreen Road, Dearborn, MI, 48128.
Saturday, August 29. 2026, at Westland Shopping Center located at 35000 Warren Road in Westland, Mi, 48185.
Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Wayne County Community College District Downriver Campus located at 21000 Northline Road, Taylor.
These collections are open to Wayne County residents.
Accepted: All types of household hazardous waste. No radioactive materials, explosives, household waste, yard waste, commercial waste, industrial waste, tires, appliances, and roofing.
