The fireworks display scheduled for today's (Saturday, August 13) Junior League World Series opening ceremony has been postponed, due to the weather. Weather-permitting, a smaller ceremony will still take place at approximately 8 p.m. on World Series Field in Heritage Park. JLWS officials will attempt to reschedule the fireworks on a later date. Tournament play officially begins tomorrow (August 14) and will continue throughout the week at Heritage Park.
