  1. Winterfest 5K Run featuring Whoville Theme!

    November 25, 2017, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Heritage Park Petting Farm

    2017 Taylor Winterfest 5K first-ever run, featuring a Whoville Theme. Part of Winterfest Day, which also includes parade, programs and activities, official tree lighting, fireworks, opening of Santa's Magic Forest and much more. 5K Run features customer Winterfest beanie and gloves; Winterfest finisher medal; age group awards; costume contest with awards; overall male and female awards; bib tag timing by Everal; and Christmas treat. Proceeds benefit the Downriver Fish & Loaves Food Pantry. Canned good donations also accepted on race day.

    Kick off the Holiday Season in Taylor! 2017 Taylor Winterfest actually includes many different, but related, events, beginning with the 2 p.m. Winterfest 5K, followed by the Winterfest Parade (City Hall to Heritage Park); programs and activities; lighting of the official city Christmas Tree; opening of Santa's Magic Forest (Activities Center); and much more. Great family activity. Why not make a day of it -- run or walk in the 5K, participate in the parade and then cool down with all of the other activities, including the fireworks display!
