DRAIN ENCLOSURE WORK will result in Eureka Road traffic delays
The City of Taylor/Tax Increment Finance Authority Eureka Road Corridor and Frank & Poet Drain Improvement Project is underway. The Racho Road culvert crossing is complete and the Racho Road closure will be reopened to all traffic before the end of the week of February 2, 2026.
Contractor Anglin Civil is moving to the next phase of the project, the Frank & Poet Drain Enclosure.
Effective Monday February 2, 2026, Eureka Road located between 500 feet east of Syracuse Street and Telegraph Road will be reduced to one-way traffic for both westbound and eastbound Eureka Road.
Both westbound lanes of Eureka Road and the center turn lane will be completely closed to all traffic, and will remain closed for several months.
Please plan accordingly and expect traffic delays on this portion of Eureka Road.
