2026 March Boards of Review 

The March Boards of Review will meet at City Hall, 23555 Goddard Road, Taylor, MI 48180, in the Council Study Chambers, first floor to review 2026 Assessment appeals, Poverty exemptions, and/or Property Classification appeals.

  •  Monday March 16, 2026, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday March 17, 2026, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday March 18, 2026. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

All appeals are by appointment only. Please call (734) 374-1316.

Appeals by letter must be received by Wednesday, March 18, 2026, before 3 p.m.

Membership

The Board of Review is comprised of a three-member board. The Board members must be registered electors of the City and own real property in the City. One-third of the Board is appointed each year by City Council to a three-year term, expiring on November 30. At the Board’s first meeting each year, a chairperson is selected for the current year. The Assessor serves as the Secretary to the Board but has no vote on any appeal, proposition or question.

The members of the board of review are paid compensation on a per diem basis as set by the City Council.
